Flatulence

Arg nit is good for stomach problems where there is a lot of belching and flatulence (wind) - especially if it happens after eating sweet foods.
If you are allergic to sweet foods and suffer diarroea and flatulence after eating them - then this remedy will benefit you.
A change of diet can also help. Cutting down on the sugar intake can help to tackle the problem.
We all eat too much refined sugar nowadays. Try to cut out as much refined sugar in your diet as possible.
Don't put sugar in your tea or coffee, or put in as little as is bearable.
Eat more sugar free foods or substitute sweets and chocolate for foods containing natural sugars such as fruit.

Lycopodium is another a useful remedy for wind especially with bloating and discomfort after eating.
This may be a sign that you are allergic to something you are eating.
You should try to pinpoint when the pain and bloating becomes worse. Is it after eating sweets? or wheat? or dairy products? etc. You can then eliminate the food you are allergic to for a short period of time. After you have given your body a rest - you can re-introduce the food you are allergic to slowly and in small amounts. This can help the body cope with the allergen.

Warning:

If you want to go on an elimination diet, you should consult your doctor and agree a programme.
