Eczema

Rhus tox is useful for eczema -especially if it is mainly on the wrists and the rash is blistered, burning and itching badly.

Sulphur is another useful remedy for eczema.
If the skin is dry and burning and the symptoms are worse in bed at night and with heat and worse after washing then this remedy could help.

Eczema - especially in children - can be triggered by an allergic reaction to cows milk proteins which have entered the blood undigested from the gut.
Substituting cows milk for organic soya milk or other types of milk such as goats milk etc. can sometimes relieve symptoms.
Try to trace what makes it worse and avoid these things.
Wear cotton instead of wool next to the skin.

Make sure the gut provides a barrier to allergens by keeping the gut full of beneficial bacteria.
(See health tips)

Replace the beneficial bacteria in the gut using acidophilus capsules or cooling bio yoghurts - if they do not make the symtoms worse.

Oil of evening primrose can also be helpful.
Make sure the diet is full of the essential vitamins and minerals that the body needs to repair itself properly.
Eat plenty of organic fresh fruit and vegetables. (See health tips).

If symptoms persist see a homeopathic doctor for constitutional treatment.
